Nymea is a platform that provides a smooth and intuitive smart home experience. The platform supports a wide range of devices and technologies, making it highly versatile and adaptable to different user needs. By combining technology and user experience rules and learnings, we were able to bring down the complexity of an operating system to a level of an average web portal.

The goal of Nymea is to provide a highly secure platform that is easy to use and adaptable to different user needs. We needed to design the product in a way that overcomes the challenges that come with managing multiple smart devices from various brands and technologies, while also providing privacy and security to its users. Moreover, we managed to translate this complexity into a user experience that is both natural and smooth.

After a thoroughly conducted analysis to identify user pain points, we carefully approached designing a platform that addressed the identified issues.

To ensure the success of the platform, we developed several prototypes, testing each and every one, and went on to refine them according to the user feedback. In turn, we created a smooth user experience, ensuring the platform was intuitive and easy to use, while developing a versatile and scalable platform that could support a wide range of devices and technologies.
